This week, Chicago Railbird takes a look at Illinois sire Road Ruler.  He had a very modest record for a stallion, but has proven himself so far to be a consistent and useful sire of state-bred sprinters.  He currently sits second on the list of sires who stand or last stood in Illinois, and is top among active sires standing in the state.
