Today, Chicago Railbird takes a look at Illinois stallion Indy Snow. He never raced in Illinois, but has been standing stud since 2008, and has been near the top of both the list of sires in Illinois, as well as of general sires of Illinois-bred horses. He stands at Hondo Ranch in Monee, a farm operated by Frank and Sharon Kirby. Frank Kirby is a trainer who frequently races on the Chicago circuit, and they own horses who race here as well. Three of his progeny are racing at Hawthorne this week, and I look at all of those races.
Read today’s Chicago Railbird, learn a few things about Indy Snow, and dive into a few races where his progeny are heading postward!
