In the spotlight today at Chicago Railbird is apprentice rider Rolando Aragon.  He started riding races this summer, and is really starting to shine this fall at the Hawthorne meet.  We take a look at three of his races: allowance contests on Wednesday and Friday, as well as a maiden race that opens Wednesday’s card.

This week’s Hawthorne racing schedule is a bit different than usual; with the Thanksgiving holiday, there is no racing on Thursday.  Therefore, this week’s Chicago Railbird covers races on Wednesday and Friday.  This weekend’s will be an in-depth preview of the Hawthorne Gold Cup.
