Picks and Ponderings: 2014 Pat Whitworth and Jim Edgar Recap

Today marked the end of the stakes season at Hawthorne, and it went out with two good races for the juvenile set.  Though the Pat Whitworth only drew a field of five, that did not preclude a hotly contested race with a tight finish.  In the Jim Edgar, twelve horses saw the starter with two looming questions in mind: could Dom the Bomb get two turns — and, if he could, could anyone beat him?
