Chicago Railbird: 3.22.15

In this weekend’s Chicago Railbird, I take a look at trainer Bradlee Rainwater, and a pair of fillies he has racing in allowance company today.  Brazyn Appeal and Gabio are both stakes-placed among Illinois-breds, and particularly Brazyn Appeal has been a consistent performer in the local ranks.

The sixth race also features the return of an impressive maiden winner from two weeks ago, Wildwood Silk.  She is a three-year-old facing older, though she already beat older horses last out.  The older company she faces in today’s Hawthorne 6th is a bit stiffer than what she saw two weeks ago, and it may tell a lot how she handles winners today.

Head on over to ShapperDaCapper, read the latest Chicago Railbird, and get ready for Hawthorne this afternoon!
