This Saturday, Beholder makes her return to Grade I company in the Vanity Stakes at Santa Anita.  The field drew a bit thin, with just five entered, but she will get her chance to prove that she is still at the top of the western distaff heap.  The one who rose in her absence, Warren’s Veneda, is among the four others who found the fortitude to face Beholder here.
