This Saturday is Million Preview day.  Throngs of classy turf horses will line up to race in those four graded stakes, but this relegates the Saturday Horses who prefer polytrack to another day.

That day is Thursday, at least for the sprinters.  Thursday’s sixth race is a conditioned allowance optional for six-furlong polytrack sprinters.  It drew six salty older male locals, as well as a pair of shippers.  Those shippers may have been looking for an allowance-level confidence builder on a Thursday, but the race drew so well that it will not be an easy ride for anyone.
