This Saturday is the biggest race day of the year at Delta Downs: Jackpot Day. The card includes a pair of Grade III stakes for two-year-olds: the Jackpot for open company, and the Princess for fillies. Each offers a big purse, and points towards qualifying for the Kentucky Derby or the Kentucky Oaks.
Over at Picks and Ponderings, Paul Mazur and I get the biggest week at Delta started off right, with a preview of both marquee stakes.
