Chicago Railbird: 11.21.15

Today’s fifth race at Hawthorne is a six-furlong allowance-optional dirt sprint for fillies and mares.  The conditions are broad, and despite there being an Illinois-preferred sprint stakes next weekend, it still drew a strong, competitive field.  It also has one of my favourite handicapping angles of all: a horse who fits an esoteric condition extremely snugly, as if the race were written for them.

Head on over to ShapperDaCapper, read the latest Chicago Railbird, and get to know some of the classiest filly and mare sprinters on the Chicago circuit!
