The Oaks trail makes it to Oaklawn in earnest this weekend with their first points race, the Martha Washington Stakes.

The race drew a field of eight, headlined by Grade I winner Nickname.  Though she brings the most proven class into the race, she comes in off of a layoff since the Breeders’ Cup.  That opens up the question — is Nickname beatable?
