The Derby trail and the Oaks trail continue at Gulfstream this weekend with the Fountain of Youth (GII) and the Davona Dale (GII).

Neither race drew big fields, but each race drew a serious buzz horse pointing first weekend in May.  The Fountain of Youth features the return of Mohaymen — the easiest of winners in the Holy Bull, and undefeated after four starts.  The Davona Dale features Forward Gal winner Cathryn Sophia.  Cathryn Sophia had no shortage of trouble in that race — but she proved her mettle by overcoming it and winning in hand anyway.
