Chicago Railbird: 3.10.16

Thoroughbred racing gets back underway at Hawthorne tomorrow, with a nine-race card.

In the latest Chicago Railbird, I have a full-card preview.

If you like dash-length races, you’re in paradise: all nine races are five or five and a half furlongs long.  If you like maiden races, you’re also in luck, as three of the nine races are maiden affairs.  For those who love salty races full of hard-knocking mares, the 3rd race is a treat.  Start to finish, it should be a fantastic opening day.

Head over to ShapperDaCapper, read the latest Chicago Railbird, and get ready for opening day at Hawthorne!
