In this week’s Chicago Railbird, I take a dive into today’s seventh race at Hawthorne.

It is an Illinois-bred N1X that drew a field of ten.  Not only is there a nice, big field — but that field contains four of the most interesting three-year-olds on the circuit.  One has proved his mettle against older already, though three others have yet to get the best of horses beyond their own age group.

Of course, I handicap the race as well.
