Today’s third race at Hawthorne is as classy a race as you’re ever going to see there on a Thursday.

The race is a six-furlong allowance-optional sprint.  It features Shanghai Red in career form, stakes winner (and recent Oaklawn winner) Creative Art, and the four-year-old debut of Dom the Bomb.

Yet, when all is said and done, it’s a Louisiana invader who looks best primed to get his picture taken.
