The Derby may have just ended…but plenty of people have Belmont on the brain already, and they’re showing up in the Peter Pan this weekend to see if that dream can become a reality.

Over at Picks and Ponderings, I preview the Peter Pan Stakes (GII), the local prep for the Belmont Stakes.  That race drew a field of eight, many of whom are new to this echelon of competition.  In addition, Paul Mazur takes a look at the Man o’ War Stakes (GI), this weekend’s marquee event for the older turf route division.
