Chicago Railbird: 5.22.16

Though so many of us are recovering from Preakness day, racing resumes at Arlington, and Chicago Railbird is there.

Today’s sixth race at Arlington is an allowance-optional at a mile on grass for fillies and mares, and it drew a field of twelve.  The favourite makes sense if you trust that she can come back to her old form…but that form came long ago, and the pace does not do her any favours.  Instead, we take a look at some horses who can win at a square price…as well as a pair of horses who, at 20/1 or more on the morning line, have a legitimate chance to finish in the frame.

Head over to ShapperDaCapper, read the latest Chicago Railbird, and get ready for one classy and contentious turf mile!
