The stakes season at Arlington rolls on this weekend.  Over at Chicago Railbird, I have a full preview of the Arlington Matron.

The race attracted a mix of locals and shippers, a mix of runners proven on the Arlington polytrack and ones who have tried other synthetics, but not Arlington’s.  I think the race has a clear standout…but she’s one of the locals, leaving some hope that shippers will keep her price square.
