Two Grade I events anchor this Saturday’s card at the Great Race Place: the Gold Cup at Santa Anita and the Triple Bend Stakes.

Hard Aces will try to defend his title in the Gold Cup, but seven other foes (and a dearth of pace) will make that task a difficult one.  Looking to the Triple Bend, Subtle Indian will try once more to prove he can go more than six furlongs…but seven others will try to stop him.
