This Saturday features Delta Downs’s signature card: Delta Jackpot Day!

A pair of Grade III events feature huge purses, Kentucky Derby points, and a chance to watch some of the top freshman Thoroughbreds in the country.

I also, over the course of the next day or so, will be posting my picks for the undercard stakes races.  They feature a diverse set of runners: Louisiana-breds and open company, juveniles and older horses, but should be competitive affairs all day long.
