Today was a day full of firsts at Arlington Park.  In addition to it being the first running of the Avers Wexler Memorial Stakes, and the first stakes experience for so many of the runners in the Arlington-Washington Lassie…well, you’ll just have to read on at Picks and Ponderings to see what other firsts filled the day!
