Friday is day 2 of the belated Arlington summer meet. It’s also, quite possibly, my favourite day of any Arlington summer meet: the day of the first two-year-old race! Friday’s Arlington 2nd is a four-and-a-half-furlong maiden special weight with a field of six first-time starters.
