We stay in the maiden ranks for Episode 132 of Chicago Race of the Day. Saturday’s 7th at Arlington is a maiden special weight sprint on the polytrack that drew a field of nine fillies and mares. Eight of the nine have raced before…so there’s a pinch of pedigree, some form analysis, and a lot of discussion of trainer patterns. It’s a different part of the maiden race handicapping arsenal than the last show focused on…but just as important, so let’s dive in!
