The first maiden claimer for two-year-olds at Arlington takes place on Friday; the day’s fourth race is a four-and-a-half-furlong polytrack sprint for juvenile fillies. It’s a fun mix of horses: the field of eight includes first-time starters, familiar faces from Arlington, and experienced horses who just haven’t gotten that experience here in Chicago. That mix of competitors combined with some eminently beatable chalk make this a fun race to handicap!
