We looked at two-year-old maiden claimers yesterday — but today, we delve into Saturday’s Arlington 2nd, a two-turn allowance that drew a field of good older horses, even older stakes horses. With questions of pace, weather, and suitability for the surface, there’s a lot to think through…not to mention, an excuse to visit with one of my favourite female families that we never see here in Chicago.
