Over at Picks and Ponderings, we continue our walk down the Kentucky Derby trail. Racing in Hot Springs has begun, and Oaklawn’s series of Derby preps begins on Monday with the one-mile Smarty Jones Stakes.
The race drew a capacity field of fourteen — and though West Coast shipper Toews On Ice headlines the entrants, he looks beatable here.
