Friday’s card at Hawthorne featured the Illini Princess Handicap; Saturday, the horses and geldings take centre stage in the Buck’s Boy Handicap. The race drew a field of ten, and it’s full of the classy turf horses who have made following the Illinois turf set such a pleasure to follow in recent years.
